In simple English
This tool takes a song and replaces the singer's voice with a different one using artificial intelligence. It separates the vocals from the instruments, removes room echo, changes the voice, and mixes everything back together. You can run it on your own computer or through a web browser. It costs nothing in money, but needs a powerful graphics card and at least 32 gigabytes of memory to run well. Setting it up takes some technical knowledge of Python and command-line tools.
What it is
AI-RVC is an open-source web application for voice conversion and singing cover generation built on RVC v1 and v2. It includes audio separation, pitch detection, model management, and a multi-track player.
What it is good for
Solo builders and creators who want to experiment with AI singing voice conversion, generate cover songs, or test voice models locally without paying for cloud subscriptions.
- Includes a web interface for managing models and running the full pipeline without writing code.
- Supports over 180 downloadable character voice models with built-in search and filtering.
- Exports separate audio tracks for vocals, instruments, backing harmonies, and the final mixed cover.
- Requires a dedicated graphics card with at least 16 gigabytes of memory for reasonable processing speed.
- Setup involves installing Python, audio libraries, and large model weights which can fail on restricted systems.
- Running multiple separation and conversion models for a single song takes several minutes per track.
Manual audio stem separation and command-line voice conversion scripts.
