The open-source AIOps and alert management platform

← Running in production
Keep: open-source alert management. Gathers alerts from every tool into one dashboard.

In simple English

When servers break, different monitoring tools send dozens of separate warnings. This dashboard gathers all those alerts into one single screen so you do not miss anything. It can group duplicate warnings and send them to Slack, Discord, or Jira automatically. You can also write simple YAML files (a plain text format for settings and rules) to run custom scripts when something fails. It costs you the time to set up Docker and connect your accounts, but it is free to run on your own server.

What it is

Keep is an open-source alert management platform written in Python. It connects monitoring tools, cloud services, and chat apps with dozens of built-in integrations.

What it is good for

Solo developers and small teams who use multiple monitoring tools and want a single dashboard for all server alerts without paying for expensive enterprise incident management software.

  • Uses simple YAML files to automate workflows like creating Jira tickets or sending chat messages.
  • Supports language models for automated alert correlation and incident summaries.
Watch for
  • Requires Docker and multiple container services to run locally or on a server.
  • Custom licence limits how you can redistribute or resell the software.
  • Setting up numerous external tool integrations requires managing many API keys and credentials.
