SSH workspace, SFTP, and terminals in one

← Running in production

In simple English

This is an app for your computer that helps you talk to remote servers. You can open multiple terminal windows, drag and drop files, and check server health in one place. It also includes an artificial intelligence helper that can write commands and run tasks across several servers at once. The app is free to download and use on Windows, Mac, and Linux. You do not need to pay for a license.

What it is

Netcatty is an Electron (a desktop application framework built with web technologies) application written in TypeScript (a programming language that adds safety rules to JavaScript). It bundles an SSH (a secure network protocol for logging into remote servers) client, an SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol for moving files securely) manager, and a terminal emulator into a single workspace.

What it is good for

Anyone who manages virtual private servers or cloud infrastructure and wants to replace older terminal apps with a modern workspace.

  • Clean workspace with saved sessions and theme options.
Watch for
  • Requires installing a desktop application on your computer.
  • AI features likely require your own API keys or external credits to function.
