In simple English
Your software often needs to make instant choices based on what users or artificial intelligence agents just did. Usually, doing this requires complex data systems that take weeks to set up and manage. This tool gives you a simple Python library and a single program to track those live events. It computes fresh metrics in memory so your app can read them immediately. You can run it locally with a single command, and it costs nothing beyond the server space it uses.
What it is
Beava is a real-time decision feature layer written in Rust with a Python software development kit (a collection of programming tools that let you build software in a specific language). It ingests live events over HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol, the underlying rules that let your browser load web pages) or TCP (Transmission Control Protocol, a core set of rules for data delivery across networks) and updates aggregated tables in memory so you can query them instantly.
What it is good for
Solo builders who want to stop runaway artificial intelligence agents, rank marketplace items on the fly, or rescue stuck website users without installing heavy queue managers.
- Replaces complex data streaming stacks with a single binary.
- Simple Python declarations for windows, ratios, and streaks.
- Fast in-memory storage designed for hot-path lookups.
- Requires writing Python code to define your schemas and event logic.
- All state lives in memory, so you must size your server for your entity count.
- Not built for long-term analytical storage or complex historical queries.
