OpenQuok: social media scheduler. Agent-native publishing workspace.

In simple English

OpenQuok helps you manage many social media accounts from one place. You can draft posts, check a calendar, and schedule content ahead of time. Artificial intelligence tools can write drafts for you, but nothing goes live until you look at it and click approve. You can run it on their cloud service or set it up on your own server. It is free if you host it yourself, while their hosted version costs money.

What it is

A full-stack social media scheduling application built with Svelte and Node.js. It includes a web dashboard, a command-line interface, and integration support for automated agents.

What it is good for

Solo builders and small marketing teams who want to schedule posts across multiple platforms without paying high monthly fees to closed software services.

Good
  • Supports ten different social networks including X, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Lets artificial intelligence agents create drafts through a command-line tool or Model Context Protocol.
  • Includes a built-in calendar and kanban board for reviewing posts before they publish.
Watch for
  • Requires setting up external services like Supabase and Redis if you self-host.
  • Uses the AGPL licence, which requires you to share your code if you modify it and offer it as a service.
  • Monorepo structure makes local development setup more complex for non-programmers.
